My 30 Day Goal is:
Do at least 2 strength workouts each week.
Current Thought:
An early start on the road to Basingstoke for the Essex Trophy 10 bell competition. We were drawn to ring first but didn’t do all that well. The ringing didn’t really hang together at all, and the judges placed us 4th out of 5 teams. The Master was then supposed to hold a meeting with all the teams to discuss next years competition, but he didn’t seem to get on with it, so I ended up taking charge. From there we headed to Oxford City Centre to find our hotel. We ended up driving round and round, then eventually back out to one of the park and rides, leaving the car there overnight and getting back in on a bus. Found our hotel, then had a quick face time with R before getting ready for the dinner. The reception drinks were free flowing, as was the wine on the table. At least we were sat with people we knew and met some lovely new people too. Had lots of conversations with all sorts. Eventually came back at after midnight, nearly 1 am before we got to bed.

Tired.
Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
needs to stay awake for C during our drive home. Has food prep to do, a quarter peal to ring, then a meeting to chair.
Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
We’re going to have a big breakfast in Oxford before heading home. Then do what needs to be done, as necessary, then probably an early night.
I feel:
Tired, dehydrated, but had a lovely time.
I do:
1) (body) short wallk, ringing, then rest.
2) (mind) keep my mind on the ringing and meeting.
3) (soul) rest, recoup, sleep.
Future Self Pep Talk:
Remember that nobody can upset you or disturb your time unless you allow them to do so.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Had a lovely time last night. My feet and back ache from standing in heels, and sitting on backless benches all evening, but it was a really good night.
