Upbeat

My 30 Day Goal is:
Do at least 2 strength workouts each week.

Current Thought:
Bitter sweet kind of day yesterday. My last one to one with my current boss before I change line management next week. Have deleted all future ones, and her senior team meetings out of the diary. Had success getting my options paper recommendation passed at Professional User Design group but it stalled later at Programme Board when someone vitoed it and said we’d have to look at one of the other options again. I think the end result will be the same, but its delaying the decision for no real reason. That kind of took the shine off a bit. Did my final 10 minute fat burner of week 1 followed by a lower body barre burn. And it did. I’m going to feel that later. After dinner a quick Zoom call with the CCCBR current and former Presidents, to discuss the former’s invitation to be Chair of the Association of Ringing teachers. He’d already thought against it, but wanted some other feedback, or ego massaging, I wasn’t quite sure which.

Current Emotion
Upbeat.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
Sets herself up for the day, starting with exercise, a massage, some admin, reading and relaxing.

Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
I’m going to enjoy a full body massage for a change. I usually only have back and shoulders done, but treating my legs to some TLC as well today.

I feel:
A little sore from the last couple of days of workouts, but looking forward to a productive day of self care and admin.

I do:
1) (body) workout. Walk into town for massage.
2) (mind) some association admin to do and a meeting this afternoon.
3) (soul) plenty of time to rest and relax.

Future Self Pep Talk:
The empathy we extend to our children today will echo in the compassionate society they create tomorrow.

Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Completed the first week of the 2 week fat burner challenge as well as my cycle workouts. five lots of 10 minutes each, and some I’ve done fully clothed in my office when no one’s around.
