Hopeful

My 30 Day Goal is:
Do at least 2 strength workouts each week.

Current Thought:
Five teams in the competition we were judging in the morning. Some good, some not so, but it is a lower level competition so people who are less experienced can take part. Not really fair when one of the bands puts in a top notch team. Maybe they need to reconsider their rules to make it fairer. They’d laid on a lovely lunch spread. When we got home, I got down to practicing methods on the computer ready for a quarter peal attempt on Sunday. I did one of each method on its own. I stepped back for a while and read. When I went back to it, C had loaded the actual quarter peal composition so I practiced the whole thing from start to end. I did ok but need to concentrate on a couple of the less familiar methods again. I decided to do a workout and opted for two short ones. A dancy type cardio followed by the abs one in my current cycle. I enjoyed them both and it was good to have moved. After dinner I settled and watched tv, then napped.

Current Emotion
Hopeful.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
tries her best to keep right in both a peal, and quarter peal  attempt this afternoon. Need to practice again this morning. I have food prep to do, and a meeting this evening.

Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
Lots to keep my mind on but hoping I stick with it. Can only do my best.

I feel:
Nervous. I don’t want to stuff it up for others. I should be able to do it. I’ve rung all the methods before in one way or another.

I do:
1) (body) walk into town. Lots and lots of ringing.
2) (mind) keep focused a the methods. Remember the differences.
3) (soul) prep good food for the week ahead.

Future Self Pep Talk:
You are the only one who can give yourself lasting and stable happiness.

Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Glad to have had time to workout. It was good to move my body and keep consistent with my approach, not letting me talk myself out of it.
