Reinvigorated

My 30 Day Goal is:
Lose whatever weight to get to 170 lbs.

Current Thought:
Very busy but great day yesterday. Certainly helped the day go by faster. An interested observer to a couple of sessions, I felt they were honest and open conversations, nothing hidden, or attempted to be downplayed. That was quite refreshing. Didn’t get out at lunchtime as there was no break in my day. Did manage a 30 min upper body strength session when I got home. It needn’t have taken that long as Joe kept talking between sets, so I finished before him. Used my 7.5kgs throughout, including the chest presses. Keeping in mind that I’m not going to get stronger, or leaner if I keep whimping out using lighter weights, or giving up before it gets too hard. Had a lovely meal out and catch up with my friend. We both stayed on soft drinks and only had 2 courses and coffee. That’s the last meal out I’m expecting for a little while now, so I can refocus on losing these extra pounds.

Current Emotion
Reinvigorated.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
Has another quiet day ahead, but is reinvigorated about the prospects for the future few months. Lunchtime walk today, lower body strength workout when I got home. Meeting with our other couple to plan some of next years Canada trip.

Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
Things are on the up at work. I’m hopeful that what may be my last few months there will at least be productive.

I feel:
Determined to get back on a healthy track and lose those extra pounds by the end of the month.

I do:
1) (body) lunch time walk. Lower body strength workout.
2) (mind) focus on delivery.
3) (soul) plan food for next week, keeping my 30 day goal in mind.

Future Self Pep Talk:
How do you communicate when you’re under pressure? Do you stumble over your words or do you avoid the subject? Be mindful of your own approach to understand others better.

Celebrations/Gratitudes:
C is cracking on with the kitchen refit. More cupboards removed. The new units should arrive today or tomorrow, so that will be exciting.
