My 30 Day Goal is:
Lose whatever weight to get to 170 lbs.
Current Thought:
The weight loss isn’t quite going to plan at the moment. With two weeks to go until the end of the month, I have 7lbs to lose. I keep thinking I’m doing well, then I get a day like yesterday where I ate more snacks than was on plan. I had my two planned snacks, but supplemented them with some boiled eggs and spinach then some apple and peanut butter. Later in the evening, after dinner with pudding, I then had a highly sweetened flapjack that had been sent as treats with our new kitchen cupboards. Most of the time I wasn’t even hungry so didn’t need it and knew I shouldn’t have been having it. I find it really hard to turn food down when it’s so easily on offer. And the weekends are always harder because we’re usually out and about, so there’s often little choice. I need to get better at planning for the weekends, and to say no to the unnecessary treats.
Current Emotion
Regretful.
Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
needs to be more resistant to snacking and unhealthy eating habits, and plan better for weekends and days out. I need to be drinking more water, as I don’t always get through my two litres a day.
Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
I have planned breakfast and snacks for today. C will have made extra bread rolls, so I’ll have to find something to do with that which is healthier and more interesting than just cream cheese. I will set myself a target of two litres of water today – that equals four of my drinking glasses, and should be quite doable. I may also get the opportunity to do two workouts today.
I feel:
Determined to shift the weight and get it stable at the 17Olbs by the end of the month.
I do:
1) (body) walk into town, workout, two litres of water, and no extras.
2) (mind) get the Trustees papers sent out today.
3) (soul) remember my why and my core values.
Future Self Pep Talk:
A good environment is not a luxury, it’s a necessity.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
The new kitchen cupboards have arrived. C started to put one up yesterday afternoon, and I helped slot it into place when I got home. The handles need to be put on. There’s lots of things to do to finish the look, but C is very clever and will do all that himself.
