My 30 Day Goal is:
Lose whatever weight to get to 170 lbs.
Current Thought:
Couldn’t sum up enthusiasm for writing the business case document yesterday. I got as far as opening the economic data and making a couple of adjustments, and opening a draft document, but that’s as far as I got. Its a frog that needs to be eaten. When I got home I decided to do the two yoga workouts in my cycle. I’m not usually a fan of yoga but I do like to do every workout in a cycle at least once. They were only short ones, 15 and 20 mins each, so it amounted to the same time I’d spend on any other workout. I was pleasantly surprised at how many of the moves I could do but I didn’t get the sense of having worked out, no sweat, no raised heartrate, no out of breath or muscles worked. I know that’s what yoga is about, but I prefer something faster paced or strength.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
is really trying to shift that last few pounds to reach this months goal, or get as close to as possible. Is determined to do difficult things in terms of work, ringing and working out.
Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
I will start writing the business case today. I will relearn a method reedy for the weekend. I will workout hard this evening and be an active participant in the Exec meeting this evening.
I feel:
Fed up about my ear not clearing still, but won’t let it get in the way of getting on with things.
I do:
1) (body) lunchtime walk. Workout.
2) (mind) business case and Exec meeting.
3) (soul) choose recipes for the coming week.
Future Self Pep Talk:
We need to reach out with our eyes, ears, words and attitude to make a connection of heart with that person.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
I tried yoga for the first time. Its a bit like pilates in as much as it’s slow, focused movements. I’m not a fan, but I could do those two workouts again if the mood took me.
