My 30 Day Goal is:
Lose whatever weight to get to 170 lbs.
Current Thought:
So, we were required to ring yesterday. C got placed on the tenor behind, so had an easier time of it. I was placed on the two, and was later told that was because the conductor wanted solid front enders. True, or not, I’ll take it. Apart from one very minor mistake I didn’t make any errors and it was quite an enjoyable peal really. It seemed to end earlier than I was anticipating, which was a bonus. We went for a quick drink afterwards, before grabbing a Waitrose salad for lunch to eat in the car. Got home, and I was absolutely shattered. We both sat down to read, and both ended up falling asleep. Luckily, C had put dinner in the slow cooker before we’d gone out so it didn’t need anything doing. Spent the rest of the evening gaming and watching old episodes of Yes, Minister.
Current Emotion
Positive.
Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
feels positive about the day ahead. A small pile of ironing. Another peal attempt this afternoon. Food prep for the week ahead, and a meeting this evening, at which I’m just an observer.
Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
I felt really good after yesterday’s peal, hope today will be just as successful.
I feel:
feeling pretty confident, and good about most things at the moment. My attitude towards others has shifted so that I worry less about what other people think or do, or say, and I let them get on with it.
I do:
1) (body) Brisk walk into town for ringing this morning, and peal attempt this afternoon.
2) (mind) keep my mind on today’s method. One I’m very familiar with.
3) (soul) prep for the week ahead to set myself up for success.
Future Self Pep Talk:
The mind is the only limit you’ve got- when you know you can do it, you can.
