My 30 Day Goal is:
Enjoy the Christmas period whilst still taking care of exercise and fueling my body well without missing out.
Current Thought:
It was lovely to see my former colleagues for a Christmas breakfast in town however, I did feel a bit left out of some of the conversations they were having about people in their teams, and two people pretty much dominated the conversation about the course they’re both on. I’d asked ChatGPT to look at the restaurant’s breakfast menu and tell me the best option for weightloss and protein. It suggested Eggs Benedict which happens to be one of my favourite breakfasts anyway. After buying myself some fresh flowers, I came home and got on with making another set of edibles to go with the gifts. I had two meetings, one in the afternoon which was quite fun to look at wordsmithing, the one in the evening was looking at terms of reference for a group within one of my workgroups. Both relatively easy sessions. I did my cycle AMRAP workout, including the burpees. It was brutal but earned me my 650th workout badge.

I am a woman who:
is getting parents Lasting Power of Attorneys sorted out for them that will future proof their finances and health. We have the District Carol Service this afternoon, so I’m hoping lots of people come.
Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
It’s amazing how, being the youngest of my siblings, my parents turn to me for major things like sorting out their finances, funeral plans etc. They often look to me as the one that sorts things out.
I feel:
Terribly adult. C and I were also discussing my pensions this morning as I’ve now got quotes through.
I do:
1) (body) probably walk into town later. Maybe a workout after the carol service.
2) (mind) get parents to sign the right bits of the documents today.
3) (soul) try to get into the Christmas spirit.
Future Self Pep Talk:
When you focus intensely on a task long enough, you will get into a state of flow where you feel fully immersed.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Loving pushing myself harder in workouts at the moment. Not settling for the easy options all the time, seeing where I can push harder, lift heavier, and do more.
