My 30 Day Goal is:
Enjoy the Christmas period whilst still taking care of exercise and fueling my body well without missing out.
Current Thought:
So, I told my boss I would definitely be handing my notice in in the next week or so. She said she was pleased for me, although not pleased to be losing me. We had a laugh about what my new life might look like, and how much longer she’s got before she can even start contemplating retirement. Other than that, a mostly quiet day. A couple of meetings I didn’t really need to pay much attention to and some SOSI catch up. Home for a quick workout before ringing. Last practice of the year. We took some sausage rolls and mince pies. There were only 13 of us there. Pub, then home and bed.

I am a woman who:
has another quiet day at work. More SOSI to catch up on. One short meeting this morning, then a workshop this afternoon that I’m going along as an observer to. Workout. Then either finish sorting through baking stuff, or maybe making truffles for gifts. Either that, or chilling out on the sofa.
Todays Sweet Spot:

I need to fill my day at work with interesting diversions. I need to do a workout and get my strength up.
I feel:
A bit meh! Not fussed about much.
I do:
1) (body) Iunchtime walk. Workout.
2) (mind) find things to do.
3) (soul) take care of my body and mind.
Future Self Pep Talk:
Stop trying to be someone who makes good choices in a bad setup. Instead, become someone who makes inevitable choices in a smart set up.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Glad to have had the conversation with my boss so my email of resignation doesn’t come as a shock just before Christmas.
