My 30 Day Goal is:
Enjoy the Christmas period whilst still taking care of exercise and fueling my body well without missing out.

Current Thought:
Resourceful day yesterday. I did a 20 min kettlebell workout first thing. I did feel the strain a bit but it was good to move. Whilst C was tidying the kitchen ready for visitors today, I powered through the pile of ironing. We popped into town where I bought some new black jeans to replace the ones that are too big. I bought 2 pairs, and a pair of shoes. Plenty of reading before we went out to Hyde Hall to see the lights and eat there. Back home and whist C was still sorting things out, I read some more and R napped in her new computer chair.

Current Emotion
Normal.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
walks into town for Sunday ringing. E, M & little E, with V will be there this morning, so will come back to ours for a quick lunch and present opening. They can’t stay long as their mother has hijacked the time they’re spending with their father because one of her sisters is visiting. After they’ve gone, we can revert to relaxing.

Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
I will try not to be snarky about the amount of time the kids are spending with their dad this Christmas, compared to their mother. Or the fact their mother ruined the surprise for my mum by telling her E, M & little E were paying them a visit.

I feel:
Mildly wound up about their mothers continual interference in my life.

I do:
1) (body) Walk into town. Ringing.
2) (mind) keep my feelings to myself.
3) (soul) have some christmas fun with little E.

Future Self Pep Talk:
To be successful, you need to decide what to focus on, how to get the energy to do it, and how to be more intentional about your life.

Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Pleased to have worked out for the first time in a few days. Its always quite hard to pick up when you’ve stopped, even for just a couple of days.
