I’m really chuffed on the progress our learner ringers are making ahead of their first proper performance and ringing with others on Saturday afternoon. We’ve been giving them extra sessions every night this week and the final one tomorrow afternoon. Last night 2 of them were ringing pretty much fully by themselves and practiced following another bell. Given they’re only had 6 sessions they’ve come on brilliantly. I’m excited for them taking part. They’ve all said they want to continue after the coronation which is great, and they’re all good fun.

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about picking up with the SOSI work as my renewal is due later this month. Once this coronation is out of the way, I’ll have more time to be able to review and pick up again. I’ve let it slide because I’ve got the hang of a lot of the concepts, but like most things it has to be put into practice. I think summer makes it easier as I can wear more elegant, feminine things, and have more opportunities to explore.
I need to get back into JWW over the weekend if I can. I’ll be doing an awful lot of ringing so may not have decent upper body strength, but as soon as next weeks planner goes live, I’ll plug in which days I will do workouts and Stick to it.

The effort everyone is putting into media enquiries for filming and interviews ahread of the coronation. I don’t think bellringing has ever had this level of exposure.
