Awake

I’m currently feeling:
Tired.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Had a good day and evening yesterday. Drove to Basildon to help with interviews for another team. There were only 2 candidates but they were very different from each other. Back to base for the afternoon, then staying put and getting dressed up for the staff awards ceremony. It was a nice enough event but disappointing yet again there were no non-clinical winners at all. There was wine on the table but noone really drank it. I had one glass, as did my guest but everyone was driving and needed to get up for work the next day. I ended up sneaking the other bottle home. We left about 10pm, lots of people had already left by then but there were still the hardcore on the dancefloor. I hope my guest didn’t think I was a party pooper but dancing and staying out late is not really my thing. She knew people there and could have stayed if she’d wanted to.

My desired feeling:
Awake.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Need to stay awake and focussed today. Reasonably active day ahead and another showing of our ringing film this evening with edits as discussed last time. Not sure who’s coming to watch but we’ll get a concensus.

I‘ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Feeling it today. Grey cropped trousers and burgundy sleeveless blouse. Gibraltar bracelet, birthstones necklace and gold knot stud earrings. Feeling tired and heavy today.

I will show up for myself by:
Need to workout this evening. I’ll have time before dinner this evening. Not feeling it at the moment but will just do it and will probably feel better later.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Not much opportunity today. May get out at lunch time for a walk if it stays dry.

I will show up for my extra ordinary goal by:
Get the main filming project agreed and signed off so the rest of it can be finished over the coming weeks and in use.

Today I am grateful for:
My work colleague coming as my plus one. I’m sure it was quite dull for her, she’s quite a party animal and this was a bit subdued and I normally just sit and watch.
